I have been trading covered calls (mostly MSFT) for quite sometime. In theory, we are making money by taking the risks of volatilities and providing liquidity by writing options. Given normally writing options are done by institutions, it might mean we might be buying a commercial grade tools for profit.

It seems like a good strategy which is widely used by market-maker.
